The solution: one Raspberry Pi and the RetroPie project. Then I could be lazy and sit on the couch playing games! I sit at it all day for work, then after work for fun. However, the biggest thing I wanted was to play something, not on my laptop. The problem was I wanted more games, more emulators for different platforms, and a proper controller instead of a keyboard/mouse. In the past, I just set up an emulator on my Linux laptop (Thinkpad BTW) played around a little, tweaked some settings, then got bored. Quite happy with my device, and according to sysbench is actually outperforms the CM3L+ module so as far as I know it's one of the most powerful handheld emulation devices that's manufactured to date (besides the rare one running the Snapdragon 8xx processor that nobody can ever find).I have wanted a retro gaming setup for about 10 years! I have dabbled with a little emulation of older consoles from my childhood - things like Sega Mastersystem, Playstation 1, and Amiga 500 emulation. I do wish there were more options such as save-states and other adjustments, but I know that will come with time and a few revisions of the firmware. It seems the one emulator that has always ran without fail is the GBA emulator since I can always fire up a GBA ROM and play any game I want without any issues. I went ahead and decompressed all of my games and copied them over to the right directories within /roms/ but still have issues with most of them loading up properly. After this I launched PuTTy and logged into the device and navigated to /etc/emulationstation and renamed the original file es_config.bak with sudo, and also used sudo to move the new es_config.cfg to /etc/emulationstation and after that I rebooted the entire device and it seems to have helped a few emulators, but for some reason now I have a few emulators that don't work at all (like the SNES and Genesis/MD emulators) which I don't quite understand.

I ended up having to copy the entire code and save it into a brand new file called es_conig.cfg and saving it in my /roms/ directory using WinSCP. This one was hard to change since you can't directly access es_config.cfg because of privileges.
RETROPIE PSX .7Z FILE EXTENSION PC
I keep forgetting I'm in North America and we never got the PC Engine up here * Edit: Fixed PCEngine and TG 16 sections.
RETROPIE PSX .7Z FILE EXTENSION INSTALL
I copied it from a Retropie install and forgot to fix the command. More cores will be updated in the future. * Updated to add Megadrive for our Non-North American friends! As well as /ports. * Edit Forgot to add the extensions for the Atari 7800. Perfmax /opt/ppsspp-crashoverride/PPSSPPSDL %ROM% perfnorm
